Resolved - This incident has been resolved.
Jul 20, 06:26 UTC
Monitoring - Statistics queues have been cleared and all traffic levels are back to operational. We will continue to monitor in case of any changes.
Jul 20, 05:04 UTC
Identified - Engineers have identified an issue with an upstream provider which may cause statistics to be unavailable in the NS1 Portal or via REST API. There is no impact on DNS delivery at this time. We will post further updates as they become available.

Jul 19, 2019
Resolved - Engineers have identified an issue resulting in zone statistics not being displayed in the Portal. Record statistics and DNS Resolution were unaffected by this issue were operating as expected.

This incident has been resolved.
Jul 19, 19:51 UTC
Resolved - Our engineers have identified an issue with the San Jose monitoring region that might cause some monitoring jobs to show an inaccurate status from 06:02 UTC to 06:30 UTC. This was limited to those using single-region San Jose jobs, and not customers monitoring from multiple locations and leveraging the "quorum" or "all" policy.
Engineers have successfully mitigated the issue and we will continue to monitor the region.

Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.
Jul 12, 17:00 UTC
Update - Api and Portal issues are nominal at this time. Engineers are monitoring subsystems and we will update with more information if needed.
Jul 12, 15:25 UTC
Update - There is a networking incident occurring concurrent with the maintenance. Engineers are working to resolve this currently. Current impact is limited to API, Portal, and Edge Node Change Propagation.
Jul 12, 14:42 UTC
In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Jul 12, 14:00 UTC
Scheduled - Please be advised we will be conducting core system maintenance on Friday July 12th from 14:00 to 16:00 UTC. Users may notice a very brief period of propagation delays, or slow response times with respect to the Portal and API during this maintenance. No impact to DNS delivery is expected. Please reach out to support@ns1.com with any concerns.

Resolved - This incident has been resolved.
Jul 10, 22:41 UTC
Monitoring - Engineers have implemented fixes on the affected pop and brought it back into service and are currently monitoring. DNS Latency remains nominal.
Jul 10, 22:08 UTC
Identified - Engineers have identified an issue with one of our pops in the Western US. This pop has been brought out of service and DNS latency should be nominal.
Jul 10, 21:12 UTC
Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.
Jul 10, 13:01 UTC
In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Jul 10, 05:00 UTC
Scheduled - Please be advised that on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at approximately 05:00 UTC our facility provider will be conducting maintenance on NS1's San Jose monitoring node. This maintenance will last approximately 8 hours, during which time there will be brief delays in up/down status updates for monitoring jobs in the San Jose region. As always, we strongly recommend monitoring from multiple regions and using the 'quorum' monitoring policy for optimal performance.

Jul 9, 09:51 UTC
Monitoring - A fix has been implemented and we are seeing recovery. We will continue to monitor the progress.
Jul 9, 08:07 UTC
Identified - Our engineers have identified an issue causing DNS propagation delays in Redundant DNS Networks. This will manifest in the slow appearance of zone updates on the edge of each Network. We are actively working to resolve the issue and we will provide further updates as available.

Update - We are continuing to investigate this issue.
Jul 8, 15:41 UTC
Update - Investigation is ongoing. Managed DNS customers may experience latency as they are routed to other POPs. Dedicated DNS customers may experience propagation delays. We will update as more information becomes available.
Jul 8, 15:37 UTC
Update - We are actively investigating this issue. DNS deliverability is unaffected, but end users may see increased latency.
Jul 8, 14:49 UTC
Update - We are continuing to investigate this issue. DNS deliverability is unaffected, but end users may see increased latency.
Jul 8, 13:45 UTC
Investigating - Engineers have identified a networking issue at multiple Points of Presence (POPs) and are currently investigating subsequent propagation delays in those regions. The POPs have been taken out of service and DNS resolution is nominal at this time. Customers may notice increased latency while DNS queries are routed to other POPs, specifically for managed and dedicated networks. We will update as more information becomes available.
