Core Maintenance Nov 19, 05:00-07:00 UTC
Please be advised that NS1 engineers will be conducting core maintenance on November 19th 2018 between 05:00 and 07:00 UTC. During this window there will be a 5 to 10 minute period during which a number of core services may be offline or degraded. Specifically, we expect the NS1 Portal and API to become briefly unavailable or return error status codes for some operations, zone transfers will be temporarily disabled, and there may be minor delays in the monitoring subsystem. This could impact certain intelligent records whose Filter Chains depend on data feeds updated through the API or by NS1 Monitors. There will be no interruption in DNS delivery.
Please contact support@ns1.com should you see any issues.

Scheduled - At 16:30UTC on 16 November and lasting about 30 minutes, our engineers will be performing site maintenance on our Singapore datacenter. DNS Resolution should be unaffected. Users may notice an increase in latency as queries are routed to other servers in the region. Please contact support@ns1.com should you see any issues.

Resolved - In connection with the previously reported monitoring subsystem delays impacting our Singapore node, we have observed elevated rates of SRVFAIL responses in the region for some ALIAS records from 08:30 to 09:00 UTC. This unexpected behavior subsided when the monitoring subsystem delays in the region were resolved.

Resolved - This incident has been resolved.
Nov 10, 10:52 UTC
Monitoring - Our engineers have successfully mitigated the issue and we will continue to monitor the region.
Nov 10, 09:55 UTC
Identified - We are currently experiencing delays in our monitoring subsystem in Singapore region that may be causing some monitoring jobs to show an inaccurate status. This is limited to those using single-node Singapore jobs, and not customers monitoring from multiple locations and leveraging the "quorum" or "all" policy. DNS delivery is not affected. We are actively working to resolve the issue

Monitoring - Engineers have fully mitigated the issue with propagation in Dedicated DNS. No further impact is expected and we will continue to monitor.
Nov 7, 03:46 UTC
Update - We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.
Nov 7, 03:45 UTC
Update - NS1 engineers have successfully mitigated the monitoring subsystem delays, though users with Dedicated Networks may experience slower DNS propagation than expected. There is no further impact expected on the Managed Network.

Nov 7, 01:15 UTC
Identified - We are currently experiencing delays in our monitoring subsystem that may be causing some monitoring jobs to show an inaccurate status. In addition, customers may experience slowed propagation of DNS changes. We are actively working to resolve the issue.

Monitoring - NS1 engineers experienced a brief period of monitoring delays in our Dallas region that may have caused some monitoring jobs to show an inaccurate status from 1000 UTC to 1035 UTC. We have repaired the issue and are continuing to monitor the system. DNS Delivery is not affected.

Update - Engineers are performing maintenance on our Dallas monitoring node. We expect that customer impact will be limited to those using single-node Dallas jobs, and not customers monitoring from multiple locations and leveraging the "quorum" or "all" policy. We will update this status as we progress with this maintenance.
